How the Laitent Space marketing site handles visitor data. Short version: anonymous analytics, no ads, no cookies, no account system. If you email us, we'll have your email. That's about it.
This policy is specifically for the laitentspace.com marketing website, including case pages, the contact links, and this privacy page. Individual Laitent Space apps (such as Accretion) have their own privacy policies that cover app-specific data handling; those are linked from the App Store and Google Play listings.
We use two Vercel-provided scripts on this site: Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both are privacy-respecting by design. They do not set cookies and do not track individual visitors across sessions or across sites. They collect aggregated, anonymized signals such as:
Vercel acts as our data processor for these signals under its privacy policy. No personally identifying information is collected or linked to these measurements.
The contact buttons on this site are mailto: links that open your own email client. When you send us a message, we receive whatever you chose to include: your email address, your message, and any attachments. We use that information only to reply to you and, if you ask us to, keep a record of our conversation. We do not add you to any list or share your address with anyone.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as Canada's PIPEDA, Quebec's Law 25, the EU and UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA). These rights can include: knowing what personal information is processed about you, requesting access or a copy, requesting correction or deletion, objecting to certain processing, and withdrawing consent.
Because this site holds no account data and the analytics we use are anonymous by design, the only personal data we typically hold about you is whatever you sent by email. To have that deleted, email privacy@laitentspace.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Canadian users can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca. Quebec users can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the Effective date at the top of the overview is updated. Material changes will be noted in the site's commit history, which is public.
