A deck of real-life side quests you swipe through. Small dares, micro-adventures, things that make the week feel less flat. Level up an adventurer as you go.
QuestDex is built around a simple loop: every day you open it, flick through a small deck of quests (call a friend you've lost touch with; take a photo from a rooftop you've never been on; eat something with a colour you don't usually eat), and swipe to accept, skip, or bank for later.
Accepted quests live in a compact tracker. Completing them levels up an adventurer: a small, pixel-art avatar whose stats, outfit, and inventory reflect the kinds of quests you've been saying yes to.
It's a game about small courage, built as a single Flutter codebase so it runs anywhere: your phone, your tablet, your laptop, all in sync.
The whole app is four rooms. Home is a daily deck: one featured quest on top, a swipeable card underneath, accept or skip. Quests is the tracker for the ones you took. Explore is the catalogue, grouped into chains and categories. Stats is where the adventurer lives, levelling up with every quest you close out.
We kept the chrome soft and warm so the content (the dares, the categories, the numbers) could carry the tone. The palette is swappable from the profile tab.
A private beta is live. We're iterating on the quest catalogue. The taxonomy of "what counts as a side quest" is harder than it looks, and we're spending time there so the deck never feels like homework.
Planned: shared quests with friends, seasonal / local quest packs, and a daily streak that rewards consistency without punishing life getting in the way.
We're adding a small number of testers each week. Drop us a line, tell us what kinds of quests you'd want to see, and we'll get you in.
